At Lacto Japan Group, discussions on risk management are conducted through the Risk Management Committee, chaired by the President. Human rights risks are overseen and managed primarily by the Corporate Sustainability Department.
Lacto Japan has established internal reporting channels that allow employees to seek advice or report concerns with confidence, helping to prevent legal violations and misconduct. In addition to internal contacts, we have also put in place a system that enables employees to report directly to an external attorney, with full consideration given to the protection and privacy of whistleblowers. Through these mechanisms, we are working to foster a healthy and highly transparent corporate culture.
Lacto Japan regularly conducts harassment-prevention training and internal briefings on human rights to deepen understanding and raise awareness of human rights issues. By fostering a workplace in which every employee correctly understands human rights and respects one another, we work to maintain a fair and safe working environment.
Lacto Japan Group has established a human rights due diligence framework and continues to implement it on an ongoing basis. We disclose the results of these efforts with transparency and work together with stakeholders to advance the respect for human rights.
